Half In Love With Elizabeth (Foamo Remix)
October 26th, 2008
This Foamo guy, what’s he eating for breakfast? He must be putting some shit in there, ’cause this is insane! The production is soooooo good.
We like Foamo a lot after he put the inaccurately named Herve Reshuffle of Yeah! Woho!s remix of This Is Sick in a mix he did for the Rob Da Bank & Friends-show on Radio 1. I’ve been wanting to put a spotlight on that for a while now, so readers of this blog: Wherever you see “This Is Sick (Herve Reshuffle)”, it’s really “This Is Sick (Yeah! Woho! Remix) (Herve Reshuffle)”.
Now go get that brilliant Foamo remix;

Stil Vor Talent
October 22nd, 2008
Heads up; at the next Yeah! Woho! gig this track will be played twice. It was on the first release on Oliver Koletzki’s own label Stil Vor Talent, an EP called Blackout. That was back in 05, but it still sounds fresh.
Oliver’s also responsible for one of the best tech house tracks this year, Since You Are Gone, also on Stil Vor Talent.

Yet another weekend has passed. Now let’s work a little, so we can do it all over again, ok?
Friday night I did a gig at a small bar. After accepting the gig, I thought to myself; what do you play in a bar? I never got an answer, but it was actually a lot of fun! This guy came up to me and Alfred (second half of YW) and gave Alfred a CD, he asked what it was and the guy’s like “eh.. track 1’s good”. It was packed with crammy big room minimal stuff. I played two tracks from it. I guess that sums up the night pretty well.
Anyway, here’s an old Get Physical groove I just got my hands on. And when I say groove, I mean groove.
Far Och Son
October 12th, 2008
The birth of Far Och Son (translates Father And Son), a collab between Frej (of Maskinen and Slagsmålsklubben fame) and rapper Simon G (of Las Palmas), is undoubtedly todays most pleasant news. Though they take a few steps down the exact same path as Maskinen, and the chorus on debut track Panik tells us they’ve been listening a bit to much to Basement Jaxx classic Jump N’ Shout, this is great stuff.

You could also get a torrent of the whole release created by their label Hybris, including a brilliant Tony Senghore remix and a disastrous Phatzoo remix, over at the Pirate Bay.
Pro Nails (Rusko Remix)
October 8th, 2008
If you’re swedish you’ll probably call this tunggung. ‘Cause that’s exactly what it is. Can’t really translate it though. But give this brilliant Pro Nails rmx a go, you might understand what I’m on about. Also, be sure to check out Rusko @ MySpace, that guy’s got some killer grooves under his belt.
